Frog boots are broke

Tad got his boots and bindings before the board came, after seeing Tad's boots Ben believed his frog boots were his snowboarding boots, and was wearing them around the clock... until the fatal moment

I wish I could have captured the actual moment of breaking on film, he was devastated and insisted on removing the boot immediately, there was no way he was wearing a "broken frog boot".

Crash ... like daddy

Tad took his board to a very steep sledging hill yesterday to try it out. Here is Ben's impersonation ... I didn't get it on the film but after "crash" he said "... like Daddy"! Too funny.

New toy

Its official, Tad is a snowboarder! 2 days of downhill fun in Breckenridge and a visit to sierrasnowboards.com ... I'm excited, I'm picturing funfilled days on the slopes and nights in front of a big fire with a nice drink. It can happen, right?

We've had about 2' since getting home from Colorado. And its been freezing (that means much less than actual freezing). Its been a balmy 35F today and I'm now ready for Spring. Too bad its only January :(
